Tanya Murray represents and counsels clients by providing coverage opinions and drafting corresponding coverage position letters encompassing a wide variety of claims under commercial general liability, homeowners, umbrella and professional liability insurance policies.
She also litigates coverage disputes arising from claims for bodily injury, property damage, personal and advertising injury, construction defects and toxic torts among others.
During law school, Tanya served as the Executive Director of the University of Detroit Mercy Moot Court Board of Advocates and participated in two national moot court competitions. She was also a member of law review (and authored How to Slay the Hydra: Adopting Charles Alan Wright’s ‘The Law of Remedies as a Social Institution’ as a Framework for Preventing Data Breaches) and the Vice President of Women’s Law Caucus.
Kenneth also serves as a private and court-endorsed mediator and arbitrator in Wayne and Oakland counties. Prior to practicing law, Ken handled casualty claims for Aetna Casualty and Surety Company for eight years.
