Tatyana A. Shmygol is an associate in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Department. Ms. Shmygol has significant experience representing Fortune 100 companies and their board members in a variety of high-stakes matters in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Seyfarth, Ms. Shmygol advised companies and individuals in commercial disputes, government investigations, securities litigation, and shareholder derivative actions.
Ms. Shmygol has experience managing all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including motion practice, discovery disputes, and appeals. She maintains an active pro bono practice in the areas of family law, immigration and civil rights litigation, and has received the Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Service award for her work.
During law school, Ms. Shmygol served as a judicial extern to the Honorable John T. Noonan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and as a law clerk with the Securities Section at the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco. She is fluent in Russian.
