
Taylor Equi graduated cum laude in 2012 from Fairfield University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory and Middle Eastern Studies. Taylor received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2015, where she was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award.
Prior to joining Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, Taylor worked for a civil defense litigation firm in Stamford, CT, focusing her practice on professional malpractice claims, dram shop and liquor law claims as well as catastrophic personal injury claims. Taylor currently practices in the areas of commercial & civil litigation, personal injury/wrongful death, employment law and trusts & estates litigation.
Taylor is an avid seminar speaker, presenting on behalf of organizations such as the National Business Institute and the Connecticut Bar Association. Taylor is also an ardent writer and has published pieces for the CT NAELA (the Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys). As an involved alumni, Taylor frequently speaks to the pre-law society at Fairfield University.
In 2017-2019, Taylor was selected for inclusion to the Connecticut Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list.
An interesting tidbit about Taylor – she graduated high school at 16, college at 19, and law school at 22.
