Taylor Y. Moore-Willis focuses her practice on intellectual property and technology disputes, handling matters ranging from copyright and trademark issues to patent disputes. Taylor draws upon her extensive leadership experience, creativity, and discipline to energetically approach complex legal issues and provide perceptive advocacy for her clients.
While attending Boston University School of Law, Taylor completed the Intellectual Property Concentration and served as a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Taylor refined her advocacy skills as a member of the Boston University School of Law Criminal Clinic, where she represented both adults and children in a variety of criminal proceedings.
Taylor further developed her leadership skills by serving on the Student Affairs Student Advisory Board, the Faculty Appointments Committee, and as president of the Communications, Entertainment, and Sports Law Association.
Taylor is deeply committed to the role mentorship plays in encouraging students of color to pursue a career in the legal realm, and while in law school she served as a mentor for Boston University’s Black Law Students Association and the Latin American Law Students Association. She remains active as an alumni mentor.
Prior to entering law school, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Musical Arts from the University of Michigan where she consistently earned university honors. While at the University of Michigan, Taylor competed on the women’s track and field team.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys pageantry, watching track and field, and transcribing jazz solos.
