G. Theodore Serra is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. His work encompasses a variety of civil and criminal antitrust matters, including litigation, compliance, and government investigations and reviews by the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and U.S. Department of Justice.
Prior to law school, Ted worked in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, first as a paralegal and later as the division’s foreign liaison. As a member of the Litigation III Section, Ted worked on merger and conduct matters in the real estate, music, television, and radio industries.
As foreign liaison, he coordinated the division’s international activities with the U.S. Department of State and ensured compliance with the division’s obligations to notify foreign governments of investigative or law enforcement actions.
Ted also worked as a registration specialist in the Performing Arts Division of the U.S. Copyright Office, examining copyright registration applications for musical works, sound recordings, screenplays, and choreographic works. In addition, while in law school he was an intern for the Office of the Register of Copyrights.
