
Thomas Doyle — past chair of Baker McKenzie’s North America Litigation Practice — has litigated and arbitrated complex commercial disputes for over 30 years. He has appeared in eight circuits of the US Court of Appeals, has tried complex cases to jury verdicts in state and federal courts, and has been retained by clients to specially appear in over 35 states.
He was named a Leading Lawyer for his class action work, has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his international arbitration work, and was named US-China Litigation Lawyer of the Year in 2014.
Mr. Doyle’s practice primarily involves international disputes, often on behalf of non-US companies, and frequently involving coordinated proceedings in multiple venues. His class action experience includes securities, antitrust, RICO and consumer fraud claims.
Mr. Doyle is often involved in internal investigations of international antitrust and corruption matters. Mr. Doyle has served on the Compliance & Investigations Practice Steering Committee and now serves as the Chair of the Firm’s North America China Initiative, and frequently represents Chinese clients in US proceedings.
