Thomas P. Arnold has extensive experience in many types of finance transactions. Tom has represented lenders in connection with construction and permanent financing of many types of projects throughout the United States, including office, retail, condominium, lot development and resort projects. Many of these transactions have been structured as syndicated credits.
Tom has also represented underwriters and purchasers of taxable bonds, notes and certificates that have been secured by a wide variety of assets, including conventional commercial real estate, ground leases of U.S. military housing, and government leases. Tom’s finance practice also includes experience in modifications, workouts and enforcement of remedies.
Tom has extensive experience in many types of commercial real estate transactions. Tom has represented institutional and individual buyers and sellers of commercial real estate, including office buildings, regional malls, retail strip centers, hotels, and land.
Tom has also represented investors in the formation of partnerships and other entities to acquire real estate assets. Tom has also represented landlords and tenants in the negotiation and documentation of commercial leases. Tom also has experience handling construction and architectural contracts and agreements, tax abatement agreements, and environmental matters.
Tom’s clients have primarily included domestic and foreign banks, life insurance companies, pension advisory firms, investment banks and real estate funds. Tom has also represented individuals, trusts and partnerships.
