Thomas Logan serves as the full-time Managing Shareholder of this rapidly expanding firm. As Managing Shareholder, Thomas ensures that Carr Allison maintains the highest professional and ethical standards at every level while providing superior legal services in an efficient and profitable manner.
Thomas is accountable to the Board of Directors and Shareholders and responsible for all legal and non-legal functions of the firm. He is also charged with the development of and adherence to all firm policies, practices and programs. Additionally, Thomas oversees the selection and integration of new lawyers and key non-legal personnel to the firm.
Since 1997, the firm has grown from 10 to more than 100 lawyers and has expanded its four-office Alabama footprint to include eight offices located along the I-10 corridor from Gulfport, Mississippi across the northern panhandle of Florida to Jacksonville and north into Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Thomas is admitted to practice in Alabama and Mississippi (inactive), and before the US District Courts, both Northern and Southern Districts in those states, as well as the US Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.
Thomas earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and his JD from the Cumberland School of Law where he served on the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board and was an Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. Thomas also is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
