
Thomas E.F. Fabbri is a Member in Clark Hill PLC’s Birmingham, Michigan office. Tom works extensively with individuals on estate planning, probate, charitable planning, estate and trust administration and related tax matters.
He is also frequently asked to represent beneficiaries or fiduciaries in complex estate contests and trust disputes. Tom also publishes articles on estate planning, tax planning, business planning, estate contests and trust disputes.
Tom has been named a “Rising Star” by Michigan Super Lawyers for 2016 and 2017 in the practice area of Estate Planning, an honor bestowed upon 2.5% of Michigan lawyers. Tom has also been recognized by DBusiness as a Top Lawyer for Trusts & Estates in 2014. In 2013 and 2014 Tom participated as an institute member of the Community Foundation Professional Advisors Philanthropic Institute.
Tom is also a member of the Detroit Executives Association, the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit and the State Bar of Michigan – Probate and Estate Planning Section. Tom currently serves as the Committee Chair for the State Bar of Michigan, Tax Section, Estates and Trusts.
Tom graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School. While in law school, Tom earned numerous awards for academic merit, including the State Bar of Michigan’s Award for Excellence in the Study of Taxation, Wayne State University’s Journal of Law and Society Best Editor Award, and Wayne State University Law School’s Bronze Key Academic Award.
