Thomas H. Lee is Of Counsel, resident in Hughes Hubbard’s New York office. He is also the Leitner Family Professor of International Law at Fordham University School of Law and Adjunct Professor of Law at Columbia and New York University Law Schools.
He has litigated petitions, appeals and dispositive motions in the U.S. Supreme Court, other federal courts, and New York state courts; advised U.S. and other non-Korean companies on doing business and investing in Korea; and advised foreign governments on U.S. and international law.
He also has expertise and experience in international commercial and investor-state arbitration and litigation and regulation relating to social-media data protection and cyberlaw.
From 1991 to 1995, he served as a U.S. naval signals-intelligence officer deployed at sea in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans, and ashore in Korea and Japan and with the National Security Agency (NSA).
