Thomas L. Overbey has many years of experience in the fields of estate planning, trusts, probate, retirement plans, business, and personal tax planning. He received his B.A. from Hendrix College, his J.D. from the University of Arkansas, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Southern Methodist University.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Regents and the Long Range Planning Committee.
He is a past Chairman of the Technology in the Practice Committee, and a past member of the Digital Property Task Force, the Business Planning Committee, the State Chairs Steering Committee, and served as State Chair for Arkansas.
Also, he is a member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, Arkansas Chapter of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, and the Arkansas Bar Foundation.
He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1983 in the categories of Trusts and Estates, Tax Law, and Employee Benefits Law.
