Thomas E. Sparks is a retired partner in the law firm’s Corporate practice and is located in the San Francisco office. His practice includes public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, venture capital, intellectual property matters, joint ventures, corporate collaborations, mergers and acquisitions and tender offers.

Mr. Sparks is a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Pacific Medical Center Foundation, a former member of the Board of Trustees of Grace Cathedral – San Francisco, and a former member of the Board of Directors and President of the California Tennis Club.
Mr. Sparks served as a member of the Clinton Administration Transition Team at the Department of Health and Human Services. Mr. Sparks has provided leadership in the firm’s representation of life science and technology companies for more than 30 years.
