Tiffany R. Brown has a balanced intellectual property transactional and enforcement practice. She is largely involved with intellectual property due diligence in complex public and private mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, and cross-border transactions, as well as managing the intellectual property aspects of reorganizations.
Her transactional practice also encompasses representing financial institutions in connection with secured lending and financing agreements involving intellectual property collateral. In addition, she represents underwriters in connection with the intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity risks in issuing representation and warranty insurance for a broad variety of transactions.
Tiffany’s transactional practice also extends beyond the world of intellectual property. She has experience drafting and negotiating professional service agreements, sports sponsorship agreements, and joint venture agreements. She also has experience with professional sports franchise operating agreements and league regulations and restrictions.
Tiffany has substantial involvement with client counseling relating to IP licensing agreements, copyright and trademark matters, and advertising and trade dress issues. She has experience advising a broad range of clients on these issues, including Silicon Valley start ups, professional sports franchises, and Fortune 100 consumer products companies.
She also manages a variety of trademark and copyright matters for her clients, including routine enforcement and TTAB litigation disputes.
