
Todd Cubbage has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and more than 15 years of experience representing lenders and commercial paper conduits in structuring, negotiating and documenting sophisticated lending arrangements.
Since 2002, Todd’s legal practice has primarily focused on assisting lenders arrange multi-jurisdictional, subscription secured credit facilities with top-tier private equity and real estate funds, and, as a result, he has served as lead counsel on many of the largest domestic and cross-border subscription credit facilities ever consummated.
Todd is a member of Haynes and Boone’s global Finance Practice Group and, prior to his focus on subscription lending, he represented commercial banks and commercial paper conduits in connection with corporate and middle market loans, lease and securitization transactions.
Todd participates in industry speaking engagements, including as moderator of a panel of experts on “Subscription Secured Credit Facilities” at the 2012 IMN Winter Forum on Real Estate Opportunity and Private Investing in Laguna Beach, California, and he frequently presents on topics related to subscription facility financing and market trends at client-related events.
Todd serves in various efforts at Haynes and Boone, including through the Attorney Integration Committee, firm recruiting, the firm’s knowledge management efforts and numerous leadership roles and initiatives with the Finance Practice Group.
He is also an active member of his community, including serving on the board of directors of his 500-member neighborhood homeowners association, leadership roles with his local church and a proud father of three (two girls and one boy).
