
Todd Kremin is a partner in the firm’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group. With extensive experience in insurance coverage and monitoring matters, Todd represents and counsels insurers and their insureds in litigation involving Securities Act violations, cyber risks, foreign exchange losses, and other corporate exposures arising under directors and officers, financial-related lines, professional liability, fidelity, healthcare regulatory, and representations and warranties insurance products.
Todd’s diverse insurance practice also includes reinsurance claims and dispute resolution, representing reinsurers in connection with reinsurance programs involving medical and non-medical professional liability, directors and officers liability, and other casualty programs. Insurers regularly call on Todd to negotiate and draft standard and specialty insurance products, and to provide counsel on regulatory concerns involving new and existing products.
On the regulatory side, he also assists domestic and international insurance concerns navigate the intricate regulations that govern the insurance industry and counsels clients through the U.S. insurance regulatory landscape in connection with business combinations.
In addition to his insurance services practice, Todd also maintains a robust defense and business counseling practice. On the defense side, Todd focuses on the defense of insurance agents and brokers, and securities broker-dealers and registered representatives in connection with alleged errors and omissions (E&O).
Todd handles cases from inception through appeal, representing clients in state and federal courts, at FINRA Dispute Resolution, and in various alternative dispute resolution forums. For his business counseling practice, Todd regularly provides counsel to corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and individuals across various industries in connection with contract negotiations, business disputes, and evaluation of insurance and risk portfolios.
