Todd Rinner

Todd E. Rinner is a seasoned litigator primarily practicing in product liability, personal injury, commercial and intellectual property litigation. He has experience in defending product manufacturers and distributors, including automotive and heavy equipment and industrial product manufacturers, in lawsuits involving product liability and general liability matters.

In addition, Todd represents parties in all types of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes. He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Representative Experience :

• First-chair jury trial defense of a major vehicle manufacturer against Arizona consumer fraud claim premised on factual allegations similar to those underlying BMW v. Gore
• Trial counsel defense of a U.S. automobile manufacturer in an alleged airbag design defect product liability case in Texas
• Jury trial defense of an international farm and heavy equipment manufacturer in product liability personal injury litigation in New Mexico
• Representation of a social media podcast company adverse to Major League Baseball Properties in a trademark opposition proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent & Trademark Office
• Defense of a health technology company offering health and safety products and services for older adults in negligence/wrongful death personal injury litigation in New Mexico
