Toni Nicolo

Toni Nicolo was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from SUNY Albany in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Brooklyn Law School in 2001. As a native New Yorker, she has always been committed to her city and is proud to remain rooted with her family in Brooklyn.

Ms. Nicolo is also an entrepreneur and owner of Greenhouse, a home furnishings store in Downtown Brooklyn. Being a productive member of her community is of tantamount importance to Ms. Nicolo. She supports several local charities, including NY Cares Winter Wishes, which grants specific gift requests to children and young adults in need during the holiday season.

Since 1999, Ms. Nicolo has worked with a select group of boutique law firms specializing in negligence and personal injury litigation. Her experience in the field has spanned more than a decade, with a concentration in motor vehicle, premises liability and construction accidents.

She considers herself a people person and is particularly devoted to the practice of personal injury because it allows her to fight for her clients and their individual needs. She feels a deep sense of purpose to the people she represents and finds it gratifying to be the voice of an individual or family who has been wronged and deserves just compensation.

Advocating for people comes naturally to Ms. Nicolo, which is why she believes the best representation is based on an understanding that every client is unique. She tailors each case to maximize recovery, while meeting the particular wishes of the client.

In her experience as a litigator, Ms. Nicolo has handled cases from their inception to jury verdict. She has extensive courtroom experience and has litigated cases involving soft tissue injuries, severe scarring and disfigurement, complex fractures requiring surgery, and wrongful death. She is also a fierce advocate for the victims of traumatic brain injury and is a member of the firm’s executive committee on TBI.

Whether negotiating a settlement or managing complex litigation, Ms. Nicolo handles each case with an attention to detail every client deserves. Having represented thousands of clients, she is a skilled negotiator with extensive knowledge of trial preparation and practice and has recovered millions of dollars for her clients.

Ms. Nicolo is a member of the New York State Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and North American Brain Injury Society.
