Tory N. Delpierre, a founding member of Nield, Delpierre & Vasta PLC, represents clients throughout the Hampton Roads area. She primarily practices in the Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Suffolk Courts. Ms. Delpierre practices daily in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts representing juveniles and adults in family, criminal and Guardian ad Litem cases.
Ms. Delpierre grew up in Norfolk, attending Norfolk Public Schools. After graduating from Maury High School, Ms. Delpierre went on to the University of Virginia where she majored in History.
Following graduation, Ms. Delpierre relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend Stetson University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor with a concentration in Trial Advocacy.
During her summer breaks from Stetson University, Ms. Delpierre returned to Virginia to participate in internships with the Southwest Legal Aid Society of Virginia in Christiansburg and the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Delpierre currently serves on the Norfolk, Portsmouth and Suffolk court appointed counsel and Guardian ad Litem lists. In this capacity, Ms. Delpierre represents indigent defendants in adult criminal matters and juvenile delinquency proceedings.
As a Guardian ad Litem for children, she represents children in contested custody and visitation cases as well as abuse, abandonment and neglect matters involving social services.
Ms. Delpierre currently resides in Norfolk with her husband. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy traveling with their family and friends. Ms. Delpierre currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Portsmouth Bar Association.
