Tracey A. Dillon represents clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes, civil rights defense, white-collar criminal defense, and environmental litigation and regulatory compliance. In her 15 years of practice, she has developed a broad range of litigation skills and trial experience in both the private and public sectors.
Tracey has represented many different types of clients, including large and small corporations and partnerships, private educational facilities, government entities, individual police officers and correctional officers, and individual corporate clients.
She has experience in both federal and state court and has tried numerous bench and jury trials. Tracey is a member of the Illinois State Bar and Federal Trial Bar and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Additionally, as a prosecutor with the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office and later the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Tracey was a zealous advocate protecting the interests of abused and neglected children. Tracey gained invaluable investigatory experience as a prosecutor in Peoria County, both through her work in child protection as well in the prosecution of narcotics offenses, sex-based crimes and juvenile delinquents.
She also worked closely with the chief judge of the Circuit Court in developing the procedures and protocols for Peoria County’s first Juvenile Drug Court. Tracey earned her law degree from Northern Illinois University and her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
