Tracey Lane Russo graduated magna cum laude in 1993 from New York University where she was named a Founders Day Scholar. She received her law degree in 1997 from the University of Connecticut School of Law where she was an editor of the Insurance Law Journal and an executive member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.
Ms. Russo served as a law clerk to the Honorable Francis X. Hennessey of the Connecticut Appellate Court following law school and, prior to opening the Law Office of Tracey Lane Russo LLC in February of 2011, Ms. Russo practiced in the areas of general civil litigation and criminal defense work for two large international litigation firms.
In addition to civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, her practice includes family and matrimonial law and personal injury claims. Ms. Russo is an experienced litigator having tried several jury and bench cases to verdict as well as having several published appellate opinions to her credit.
Ms. Russo is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Connecticut. She is a past speaker at seminars focusing on litigation issues and has written a manual on the topic of trial preparation.
In addition, Ms. Russo has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law teaching research and writing to first-year law students. Ms. Russo and her family live in Orange, Connecticut, where she is an elected member of the Amity Board of Education and active community volunteer.
