With over ten years of litigation experience, Travis J. Halstead has been lead counsel for more than 20 jury trials and more than 100 non-jury trials. Based in the Orlando office, Travis has dedicated more than half his career to residential mortgage litigation matters, defending lenders and servicers in foreclosure cases, counterclaims and private actions alongside appellate work and settlement agreements.
Before his work in the mortgage industry, Travis was an assistant public defender for Orange and Osceola Counties, where he managed thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. He also practiced law in the U.K. and attended hearings at both the Magistrates’ and Crown courtrooms.
