Tucker W. McCarthy is an associate in King & Spalding’s Finance practice resident in the Washington, D.C. office. Tucker is active in King & Spalding’s leveraged finance and commercial real estate finance practices.
Tucker represents financial institutions, lenders, arrangers and borrowers in leveraged finance, banking and other secured and unsecured lending transactions, with a focus on commercial real estate finance.
Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colgate University, where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors in English Literature. He earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Masters of Laws in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Tucker served as clerk to the Honorable Denise K. Vowell and the Honorable Christian J. Moran, both of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Office of Special Masters which adjudicates vaccine injury claims brought under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986.
