Tyler B. Latcham focuses on patent litigation in a wide array of technologies in the chemical field. He specifically focuses on Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation. Tyler has participated in cases at every stage of proceedings, from pre-litigation to appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
While in law school, Tyler worked as a summer associate at Finnegan. He assisted in district court and Federal Circuit matters and in filing petitions for writ of certiorari at the U.S. Supreme Court. Tyler also worked as a research assistant at Iowa College of Law, conducting literary and empirical research on current changes in patent law.
Tyler has a master of business administration degree, with a focus on finance, and is passionate about startup companies. He worked at the University of Iowa Research Foundation before and during graduate school, assisting professors and researchers in creating startup and spin-off companies in all areas of technology. Before entering law school, Tyler worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, conducting research in bariatric (weight-loss) surgery.
