Tyler Maddry is a co-head of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society.
Tyler’s area of expertise is drafting and negotiating patent and technology agreements, master service agreements, trademark license agreements, joint development agreement, software license agreement and software as a service agreement.
Tyler has a license to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and Texas, Northern District of New York and the District of Colombia. He is experienced at conducting IP due diligence investigation, negotiating terms in M&A transactions, intellectual property right litigation and IP and technology dispute resolution.
Mr. Maddry is registered with the U.S. patent office and has worked across industries including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and information technology. He is focused on the practice of intellectual property licensing and enforcement.
