In the spring of 2012, Victoria Alford joined the team at Arnold & Itkin LLP—bringing with her a lifelong passion for justice and helping others. Since joining our team, she has been instrumental in helping victims of catastrophic work injuries and dangerous pharmaceuticals, as well as serious offshore accidents. Victoria also spends a significant amount of time working with our firm’s newest clients to ensure that every single person who chooses Arnold & Itkin receives personalized attention and legal support.
Before beginning her legal career, Victoria spent time interning for the Texas State Senate in Austin, Texas while only a high school student. It was her first taste of public service and ultimately served to spark her interest in the field, spurring her to attend Baylor University, where she received her B.A. in Political Science. During her time there, she was a Bob Bullock Scholar for the 81st Texas Legislative Session. She also won the prestigious Mayborn Scholarship, which gave her the opportunity to intern in Washington D.C.
Victoria decided to dedicate time to public service before attending law school. She worked in the State Senator’s office first and then returned to Washington D.C. to serve as an employee of a Texas Congressman. After being employed in these public sector positions, Victoria attended the South Texas College of Law. There, she received many awards such as the American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law.
While in law school, she was also a judicial clerk for Harris County’s 234th District Court and was then led to Arnold & Itkin, where she served as a legal clerk. Following graduation, she continued working on the legal team of our firm. Victoria has become an invaluable asset to the firm and constantly strives to represent her clients simultaneously with aggression, compassion, and grace.
