Vincent James Barbuto (Jim) is an associate in the firm’s IP, Tech & Data group in the New York office. Jim focuses his practice on data privacy, cybersecurity, information governance, and emerging technologies. Jim is a member of the firm’s Blockchain Initiative where he researches the application and legal issues of distributed ledger technology.
During law school, Jim received concentrations in Intellectual Property and Information Law and Business and Financial Law. Additionally, he was a Privacy Educator with Fordham’s Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP), an associate editor and blog and podcast contributor for the Fordham Media and Entertainment Law Journal and was designated as a Paul Fuller Scholar. Jim previously was a summer associate at Reed Smith and a legal intern at Two Sigma, an investment management and technology firm.
