
Vonda Skinner McLeod graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1994 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Judson College. Following graduation from law school, I served a judicial clerkship with Hon.
Eugene W. Reese, Circuit Judge for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Upon completing this clerkship, I began practicing with Shinbaum, McLeod & Campbell in the area of consumer bankruptcy and practiced there until December, 2011 when I opened my own office.
Today, I am licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama, am a member of the Alabama State Bar Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
In the past, I was a member of the Local Rules Committee for the Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama, former adjunct professor at Auburn University Montgomery and a former panel member on WAKA Channel 8’s LawLine.
I am currently on the Board for the Jubilee Community Center in Montgomery, AL and have been featured by River Region Living as one of the area’s Distinguished Women.
