Walter Schleimer practices commercial real estate law, with a primary focus on finance transactions. Walter regularly represents investment banks, commercial banks, debt funds and foreign lending institutions in their mortgage loan, mezzanine loan, preferred equity, repurchase lines, and other complex real estate transactions.
He also represents investment funds in their financing transactions, including structured loans, syndicated loans, subscription lines and other credit facilities.
Walter represents institutional lenders and borrowers in their loan work-outs and restructurings, including matters that result in mortgage foreclosure, UCC sales or other enforcement proceedings or bankruptcy resolution.
Walter represents institutional owners and developers in acquisition, joint venture, redevelopment, sales, and other traditional real estate transactions.
