Wendy T. Wendrowski is senior counsel in the Litigation Department’s Construction Group in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Wendrowski represents her construction clients (public and private owners, general contractors, and subcontractors) in transactional work and litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes prosecuting and defending against construction defect and delay claims, breach of contract claims, change order and extra work disputes, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims of violation of federal and state False Claims Acts.
Ms. Wendrowski prepares and negotiates construction contracts, other related agreements and documents, and construction claims, and counsels her clients on a wide variety of issues arising on construction projects, including contract interpretation, claim documentation, and dispute avoidance and resolution. Ms. Wendrowski has experience working with disadvantaged business enterprises (“DBEs”) and companies participating in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program.
Immediately prior to joining Seyfarth, Ms. Wendrowski taught in the Construction Management Department of the College of Engineering at Boise State University, in Boise, Idaho, where she lectured on topics including construction contract law, the formation and negotiation of contracts, contract interpretation, project administration, project documentation, and claim and dispute resolution. Ms. Wendrowski also has presented on these same topics at numerous industry workshops.
