Whitney Leeds, Esq. represents English- and Spanish-speaking clients in their criminal defense and immigration matters. Following her graduation from University of Colorado School of Law as a Dean’s Scholar in 2014, she joined the Meyer Law Office, PC as an associate attorney.
Whitney learned movement lawyering while interning with the Center for Constitutional Rights, and is an active member of the National Lawyers Guild and Communities United Against Mass Incarceration, a local coalition that aims to bring together all those organizations and individuals in Colorado working on mass incarceration or related issues such as workers’ rights, immigrant rights, LGBT justice, and police accountability.
She also interned at the CU-Boulder Law School Clinic, the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office, and the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network. Whitney has a B.A. in Sociology from City College of the City University of New York, where she graduated summa cum laude.
