Mr. Love’s practice has largely focused on hammering out agreements and advising boards and directors with an emphasis in preventative solutions to problems in directors and officer’s liability. With a background in technology, statistics, and science, he has advised a wide variety of clients including doctors, directors, and non-profits.
Mr. Love has worked on a variety of matters. Some of the more interesting items include fraud identification, prevention, and security; protecting intellectual property rights by alternate methods of contract; statistical and economic effects of laws and provisions; and a comprehensive analysis, review, and integration of laws, cases, and best practices pertaining to representing corporate officers, directors, managers, and trustees.
Mr. Love counsels clients using a business-like approach to his practice of law, believing that results matter and everyone should be afforded the chance for competent representation. Some of his pro bono work has been in defending clients from police brutality, mistakes by government, and counselling families.
Mr. Love has practiced under the law of Illinois since 2009 and graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law after passing the bar in 2007 He focus is on negotiation, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and business law. He graduated from North western University in 2001 with papers analyzing the course of terrorism and drugs in the Middle East, and the changing structures of political parties within the US.
He previously was employed as a business consultant, statistical analyst, researcher, and writer. He routinely judges the ABA Law Student Division National Appellate Advocacy Competition. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association.
