William J. “Bill” Gallwey, III is of counsel in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. He focuses his practice on disability insurance defense work and has litigated high-profile cases.
Bill is an environmental advocate, having served as past President of the Zoological Society of Florida, an organization committed to the education and conservation of Zoo Miami. He has held numerous board and leadership positions with the Miami-Dade County MetroZoo Oversight Board. He’s also a member of the Defense Research Institute, an international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.
