William L. Messervy earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
He received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Spanish and a minor in English, and was a member of the Phi Sigma Iota Honor Society.
He then attended law school at the University of Alabama, where he was the recipient of the Lt. Andrews full scholarship.
He received his J.D. degree, Public Interest Certificate, and received the school’s highest award for public service, Order of the Samaritan. Since receiving his J.D., Mr. Messervy has been actively involved in the personal injury practice.
He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. He is licensed to practice in the State of Alabama.
Mr. Messervy’s Practice Areas include: Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Premises Liability, Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Neglect, and Medical Malpractice.
Mr. Messervy is also involved with the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program. He is fluent in Spanish with a full professional proficiency.
In 2013 & 2014, Mr. Messervy was selected by Super Lawyers as a recipient of their Rising Stars Award. In 2014, he was ranked as one of the ten best attorneys in Alabama for Client Satisfaction by the AIOPIA.
Mr. Messervy serves on the Young Professional Board of the Boys & Girls Club of North Alabama. He is also an Eagle Scout. Mr. Messervy is married to Katherine Wood Messervy.
