William M. Clark, Jr., was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, son of William M. Clark and Elizabeth Hall Clark. He graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1970 and subsequently received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Classics from Vanderbilt University in 1974.
He graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1977.
Bill is a partner in the firm and currently serves as a United States Bankruptcy Trustee for the Western District of Arkansas. His primary areas of practice are bankruptcy litigation for creditors and protecting creditors’ rights in foreclosure, replevin, and collection matters.
Bill is tenured on the Arkansas Bar Association House of Delegates and has served as a member of the Arkansas Bar Association Board of Governors. He holds the highest rating offered by the rating service of Martindale-Hubbell for attorneys, an “AV” rating.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association and Washington County Bar Association.
Bill has served as President of the Springdale Kiwanis Club, as a member of the Board of the Arts Center of the Ozarks, and as President of Butterfield Trail Village Foundation.
In addition, he has served on the Board of the United Way and as Senior Warden of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville.
Bill is married to Connie Clark, who is also a lawyer in Northwest Arkansas. Their three children are Christopher, Will, and Susan.
Bill spends his free time riding his bicycle, cheering on the Razorbacks, and working around his house.
