William R. Uhr is an Associate at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP where he handles Intellectual Property matters on behalf of clients. He had previous stints with Kenyon & Kenyon LLP (2013-2016) and Woodcock Washburn LLP, Philadelphia (2012) before joining Hunton Andrew Kurth LLP in 2016.
William attended the University of Maryland where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in Business Law (Intellectual Property) from The George Washington University Law School in 2014 where he was a Staff member of the American Intellectual Property Association Quarterly Journal.
William has experience litigating patent disputes before Federal District Courts, the International Trade Commission, and the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also handles Intellectual Property ownership disputes and represents clients before State courts.
