Yavor Nechev is a senior associate who focuses on securities litigation and enforcement matters and general commercial litigation. He has represented numerous public and private high technology clients, global financial institutions, algorithmic trading firms and Fortune 500 companies and their officers and directors in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including mergers and acquisitions disputes, securities fraud class actions and enforcement matters before the SEC, FINRA and various federal regulatory agencies.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Nechev was a judicial intern with the Honorable William G. Young of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
During law school, Mr. Nechev was a summer associate in WilmerHale’s Boston office. He was also a legal intern at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and a student attorney at the Boston College Civil Litigation Clinic, where he represented low-income clients in housing and family law matters.
