Yolanda Strader handles a wide variety of complex business litigation including lender-based matters, matters related to consumer finance issues, and disputes alleging fraud, misrepresentation, civil theft, and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
Yolanda also represents a number of health care clients in a variety of business disputes. She is involved in all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, including drafting case-dispositive motions, arguing at hearings, serving as trial counsel in bench trials, defending depositions of corporate representatives, and examining witnesses at trial and in deposition.
Yolanda is active in the South Florida legal community. She is a past president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association, formerly known as the Black Lawyers of Miami. As president of the Ferguson Bar, she spearheaded a number of initiatives to enhance diversity in the legal profession and to help deserving students in Miami.
Yolanda is also a director on the Board of the Dade County Bar Association and recently served on the Leadership Team for the Man and Woman of the Year Campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Florida.
