Yvonne Woldeab focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation, judgment enforcement, and internal investigations and compliance. Yvonne has recently represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including class action fraud and misrepresentation claims, defamation suits, toxic tort and product liability claims, judgment enforcement and recognition of arbitral awards involving foreign sovereigns, and other contractual and commercial disputes on both the plaintiff and defense sides.
Yvonne is active in Steptoe’s pro bono practice where she assists individuals with immigration, employment, and civil matters. She is a member of the Black Lawyer’s Affinity Group, a group created to promote and support lawyers within the firm and the community through networking opportunities, educational programs, and internal initiatives.
While in law school, Yvonne served as managing editor of the American University International Law Review. She also participated in the human rights law clinic, where she represented refugees and asylum seekers.
