Zachary Evan Mushkatel

Zachary Mushkatel has always had an unwavering desire to serve his community as well as a competitive spirit.

Such qualities have resulted in a thriving law practice and recognition including being named as a “Top 40 Under 40” by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Mushkatel’s affinity for strategy emerged early in life on the baseball field. In college, he pitched at the semi-professional level, but was happy to leave the diamond to pursue his newfound passion for law.

After receiving his J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2004, Mushkatel returned to his home state of Arizona and served in the public sector as a public defender before joining the law office of Henry Florence and Sherry Bell.

While there, he primarily continued to handle criminal defense cases. In 2008, he joined forces with Mathis Becker and the partnership Mushkatel and Becker was formed. Mushkatel understood early on that the more diverse his practice, the better he could serve his clients.

In addition to criminal law, Mushkatel has diversified his practice to civil litigation with a focus on estate litigation as well as personal injury work. Several of his successful personal injury cases were resolved in excess of one-million dollars.

Family, community service and professional development are priorities to Mushkatel as well as to the other lawyers in his firm. Currently, Mushkatel is on the Board of Directors for the Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce as well as the Sun Valley Lodge and is an executive officer and member of the Board of Directors for the West Maricopa County Bar Association.
