Zachary J. McCormick resides in the Lake County area with his loving wife and together they have forged deep ties with the community.
Mr. McCormick is a 2004 graduate from the University of Central Florida and a 2009 graduate from Barry School of Law.
In 2010, Mr. McCormick began his career working as an attorney with the Public Defender’s Office in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. While in this position, Mr. McCormick received his ‘baptism by fire’ on the front lines of the minor crimes division and went on to fine tune his trial skills after being promoted to a major crimes unit position. Mr. McCormick decided to found his own law practice in 2014 in an effort to provide boutique legal services to the community.
This move allowed Mr. McCormick to focus on protecting American constitutional rights in all its forms with a particular focus on the right to keep and bear arms. This passion has led him to seek out cutting-edge legal concerns that have developed in the area of gun rights within the last few years.
Mr. McCormick credits the Lake County Teen Court program with giving him the inspiration to pursue a legal career, and even to this day he presides as a Teen Court Judge when called to do so.
Attorney McCormick is currently accepting cases in the areas of Business Litigation, Criminal Defense, Firearms Rights Law (including petitions for relief from firearms disabilities and firearms trust creation) as well as matters involving Personal Injury.
