Zach Shewmaker is a trial lawyer in Morgan & Morgan’s Atlanta office. Mr. Shewmaker was born and raised in Kentucky. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Centre College in 2003 before graduating with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2006.
As a law student, he participated in national mock trial competitions, coached a regional champion Mock Trial team, served as a summer judicial clerk in the Western Judicial Circuit, and practiced with the Western Judicial Circuit’s District Attorney’s office for a year and a half.
Since graduating from law school, Mr. Shewmaker has spent his entire career working on personal injury cases. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Shewmaker worked for two insurance defense firms and a small personal injury firm, all in the Atlanta area.
He has tried numerous cases to verdict, and he focuses solely on representing people who have been seriously injured or families who have lost a loved one due to the wrongful acts or omissions of others.
He understands how an injury drastically impacts individuals and their families, and his goal in every case is to maximize the recovery for his client so that wrongdoers are held accountable for their actions.
When he is away from the office and courtroom, Mr. Shewmaker enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, golfing, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball and the Georgia Bulldogs play football.

Vague and unsupported answers to questions
Not a very good person to get legal advice. Wasn’t told any advice as to regarding my accident. Answers were vague and unsupported. Kept telling me he wasn’t in the office and he can’t change the law?
For someone who is getting these rave reviews, I really don’t see it.
Kept telling me that he “maybe” can help me with my case, my case is pretty simple..
I’ll find someone who’s more competent and knows what he’s talking about.
Seemed shady..
Definitely wouldn’t recommend
