Ziwen Zhu is an Associate in the Atlanta office of Locke Lord LLP where she focuses her practice on intellectual property law, international business transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.
Ziwen advises clients on U.S. and international trademark prosecution, and clearance work, managing worldwide trademark portfolios and enforcing trademarks rights under U.S. and international trademark laws.
Ziwen also represents U.S. and foreign companies in selling and acquiring business interests, establishing business operations across borders and protecting companies’ intellectual property rights. She has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including heavy machinery equipment manufacturing, telecommunications and renewable energy.
Prior to going into private practice, Ziwen interned in the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Ziwen was also a summer associate in the real estate practice group at King & Wood in Beijing, where she assisted on international real estate transactions in China.
Before beginning her legal career, Ziwen was a Program Officer in the Embassy of Switzerland in China, where she managed cultural projects and coordinated diplomatic missions.
