Peter Goldman litigates complex business cases, including class action and mass tort cases, of an extremely wide variety before judges and juries in state and federal court and arbitration panels. A considerable segment of his practice is concentrated in the representation of various healthcare corporate entities relating to corporate structure and defense of upstream professional liability claims made against parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and directors.
Mr. Goldman has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts, representing individuals as well as a wide range of businesses, including publicly held companies in business disputes involving unfair competition, tortious interference, and enforcement of restrictive covenants. He also has extensive experience litigating and advising businesses in insurance disputes.
A significant part of Mr. Goldman’s practice also includes litigation involving trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries in probate litigation matters, as well as general partners, officers, directors, and shareholders in cases involving adherence to and/or breach of fiduciary duties. Mr. Goldman represents both shareholders and corporations in dissenter’s rights and stockholder appraisal disputes.
