Adrian Zuckerman is a partner in the Real Estate department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s New York office. Mr. Zuckerman has over 30 years of experience representing multinational Fortune 500 companies and local and national real estate owners and developers in transactions involving retail, office, apartment, hotel, co-op, condominium and industrial properties.
His practice focuses on development, acquisitions and dispositions, commercial lending, co-op and condominium conversions, commercial leasing, and health care real estate. Additionally, Mr. Zuckerman has extensive experience in complex real estate litigation, asset management, brokerage, and regulatory compliance, as well as divestiture, workouts and foreclosures.
He successfully represented his client in the seminal Visual Artists Rights Act (VARA) case of Carter v. Helmsley Spear Inc., argued in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and testified before Congress on VARA. Mr. Zuckerman is a member of the board of Kids Corp., a non-profit organization that supports underprivileged children in Newark, New Jersey, and serves on the alumni board of New York Law School. He is fluent in Romanian.
