Alison Loomis is an associate in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Department. Her practice includes representing management in employment litigation matters before state and federal courts, as well as federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
She has experience in defending both single and multiple plaintiff discrimination/harassment cases and collective actions. Ms. Loomis has worked with management in a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and technology.
Ms. Loomis is a member of Seyfarth’s Labor and Employee Relations practice group and dedicates a large percentage of her practice to issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act. As part of her traditional labor practice, she has assisted employers in representation campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, unfair practice proceedings, and labor arbitrations. She also has experience advising employers on union avoidance issues.
Additionally, Ms. Loomis works to achieve and maintain management compliance by conducting employment law training on harassment avoidance, Title VII, the ADEA, the FLSA, confidentiality matters, and California wage/hour compliance. In law school, Ms. Loomis was a member of Boston University’s Public Interest Law Journal and the Women’s Law Association.
