Ashlin C. Aldinger is an associate in the business tax group of McGuireWoods. Her practice focuses on a broad range of transactional tax matters, including mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, financings, and corporate and partnership tax planning. Ashlin also has experience with tax structuring for renewable energy transactions, with a particular emphasis on production tax credits and investment tax credits.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Ashlin worked on cross-border transactional tax matters in the Houston office of a “Big 4” accounting firm. Ashlin received her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Ashlin graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor of the Houston Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Barons.
While in law school, Ashlin served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sim Lake, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. Ashlin graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Business Honors & Finance.
