Bruce Parker

Bruce R. Parker is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Bruce’s practice focuses on pharmaceutical and medical device product liability. He has been lead trial counsel in four mass torts and has been involved in various capacities in three others. He is also a leader in several defense bar associations.

Experience :

• Served as lead trial counsel for Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA in the Actos litigation, where he tried three cases to verdict in Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Lafayette, Louisiana
• Led the expert development effort for Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. in the Benicar litigation, including the development of Daubert challenges
• Coordinated the national defense of a recalled surgical product for Pharmacia; performed a similar role for Navistar for claims involving diesel exhaust
• Served as a member of the national trial team for Cardinal Healthcare Corp. in the latex glove litigation; work included developing national experts in several scientific disciplines; tried cases to verdict in California and Texas; selected as lead examiner in the MDL Daubert hearings
