
Charlie Y. Oh, Ph.D. counsels biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical industry clients in matters relating to patent prosecution, portfolio management, freedom to operate, patentability, due diligence, and technology licensing. He has experience in patent litigation, providing technical expertise in infringement disputes.
Prior to his legal career, Dr. Oh was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California at Berkeley, the California Institute of Technology, and the University of California at San Francisco.
At these institutions, he conducted research in neurobiology, molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry. He was the recipient of the Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund Postdoctoral Fellowship Award and the National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellowship Award.
