Colleen Mallon Casse skillfully represents clients in complex commercial and real estate litigation, in state and federal courts. Colleen has extensive experience representing lenders and special servicers in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) industry, involving put-back or repurchase claims, intercreditor disputes, lender liability claims, and various other types of business disputes.
She has litigated some of the country’s leading CMBS put-back claims, where she has helped define the rights of CMBS trusts and mortgage loan sellers. Colleen is a trustee and board member of the Venable Foundation.
Colleen previously served as co-chair of WAVe (Women Attorneys at Venable), Venable’s affinity group for women attorneys, and chaired the firm’s Partnership Selection Committee.
