Debolina Das is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office and a member of Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Team. Before joining Alston & Bird, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Edmunds, Jr., of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
Debolina earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation and a member of the national moot court team.
She won the Gressman and Pollitt Oral Advocacy Award and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. While in law school, Debolina served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ann Marie Calabria of the North Carolina Court of Appeals and as a summer intern in the Capital Litigation/Federal Habeas Section of the North Carolina Department of Justice.
Debolina earned her B.A. in history with a minor in economics from New York University. She is fluent in Bengali, French, and Hindi.
